Constellation Andromeda Package

Choose your Starter Pack

The biggest starter pack, and yet the least interesting. Unless you want this ship at all costs with a multitude of goodies which, let's not forget, will probably be accessible via in-game UEC.

$275.00 HT for a ship worth $225.00 HT, to see if the $50.00 HT surcharge is justified.

Contents of the pack:

  • Third level hangar (Revel & York Hangar),
  • Digital Game Soundtrack,
  • Digital Star Citizen Manual,
  • Digital Star Map,
  • Digital Making Of Star Citizen,
  • 6 months insurance,
  • 10000 EUC.
  • Greycat PTV
  • Cot
  • RSI Constellation Poster
  • Work Bench
  • Fishtank Mark 1
  • Oshi Fish
  • Thorshy Grey Fish
  • Ribbon Fish (Vario Vittas)
  • Vindel Fish

The digital goodies are the Star Map and Game Soudtrack, as well as a Making Of worth $10.00 excluding VAT. For the latter, if you are a subscriber, I doubt it has any interest. Especially since this is a digital work, not a hard copy that you will be able to physically hold in your hands.

10,000 UEC, in terms of UEC, is currently the package that offers the most, if we obviously disregard the packages reserved for Concierges. But the quantity of UEC in a package is not really important to my taste.

As far as the hangar is concerned, this package only offers the Revel & York.
It's a bit like coming 4th in a race, the place of the con, at this price we could have hoped to have the last level, but no, you have to be satisfied with the penultimate and pay $50.00 HT extra to get to the last level (the VFG Industrial).

Where this package stands out from the others is on the presence of Flair to decorate your hangar, and the list is long with a workbench, a cot, an aquarium with 4 fish and a poster, that is no less than $40.00 HT of Flair plus a GreyCat PTV worth $15.00 HT. Of course, and on this point I think it's important to insist, all this flair will probably be accessible in game via UEC, the GreyCat PTV is even already available.

This is what makes me say that this package is "the least interesting".

As long as you have to pay for an Andromeda Constellation, you might as well opt for the Cutlass Black package that you upgrade afterwards, and you'll save $35.00 HT in the operation, but you'll have to forget about the Making Of and the flairs, the latter will be in play, as for the Making Of, it costs $10.00 HT, so you might as well buy it directly...

Star Citizen Package RSI Constellation Andromeda

The Verse Pack

The Verse Pack is the big brother of the Andromeda Constellation package. Sold for $795.00 HT, it includes the same goodies with three additional posters and two new fish for the aquarium, the VFG Hangar which replaces the Revel & York and 20000 UEC instead of the 10000 UEC of the previous pack, as well as a wide range of ships:

  • Aurora MR
  • Mustang Alpha
  • 300i
  • Avenger Stalker
  • Reliant Kore
  • Cutlass Black
  • Hornet F7C
  • Freelancer
  • Constellation Andromeda
  • Dragonfly Black
  • Last level Hangar (VFG Hangar),
  • Digital Game Soundtrack,
  • Digital Star Citizen Manual,
  • Digital Star Map,
  • Digital Making Of Star Citizen,
  • 6 months insurance,
  • 20000 EUC.
  • Greycat PTV
  • Cot
  • "Cutlass" Poster
  • "Freelancer" Poster
  • "Hornet" Poster
  • RSI Constellation Poster
  • Work Bench
  • Fishtank Mark 1
  • Menarik Fish
  • Midas Fish
  • Oshi Fish
  • Thorshy Grey Fish
  • Ribbon Fish (Vario Vittas)
  • Vindel Fish

But the main flaw of this pack is that it requires to be a concierge to access it.
Like the constellation pack, a large part of the price is in the flairs instead of in the ships.
And most importantly, unlike the other concierge packs, this pack comes with a 6 months insurance (against the LTI usually found in a concierge pack) and does not include Squadron 42 which is however present in all other concierge packs.

In the end, whether it is the Constellation Pack or the Verse Pack, these two packages are to be avoided...
